Generous support from ASDA customers at Christmas
In what has become a Christmas tradition over recent years members of the Rotary Club of Waterlooville gathered outside the Waterlooville ASDA store for three days just prior to Christmas and, despite the current ‘gloomy' economic scene, were able to collect in excess of £1000 for local good causes.
"This collection has always been a big fundraiser for us" said Rotary President John Cairns, "and this year was no exception, which was a pleasant surprise in the current environment. The people of Waterlooville have responded generously to our efforts once again and their contributions will allow us to provide help to the local community in various ways throughout the coming year"
