Progressive Lunch
In 2010 we changed the rules! Rather than a Progresssive Supper we had a Progressive Lunch (don't say we don't take risks in our club!!) but the outcome was the same - an enjoyable time was had by all. Twelve couples took part and we had three courses in different groups of 6, changing guests and hosts as we go along. I think it worked out that we ate at 12 different houses but it's too complicated............ We ended up at our VP's house to round it off with coffees and the odd glass of fine wine!!
Progressive Supper
Each year we hold a progressive supper where we move from house to house enjoying one course in each of three different houses. We eat at different houses, never usually with the same people, then we all end up in one single place. A logistical nightmare if ever there was one but at the end of the night we're generally agreed it was all worthwhile. Our 2009 event took place on Valentine's night, an opportunity for us to take our loved ones out for a cheap night..........
